No. Plenty of Christmas events are arranged in November. The dates that tend to go first are the last two weekends before Christmas, followed by Friday evenings for office parties. Weekdays, early December and the week between Christmas and New Year are usually easier to secure, so a little flexibility on the date makes a big difference.
