Funfair Hire Devon
Devon has two coastlines, two national parks and a calendar packed with agricultural shows, regattas, carnivals and seaside festivals. We bring fairground rides, traditional stalls and inflatables to events in Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Paignton, Barnstaple, Exmouth, Newton Abbot and Tiverton, along with village greens and farm fields in between.
Carnival and Regatta Season
Many Devon towns hold a carnival week or a regatta in late summer, often with a fairground at its heart. Rides that suit an evening crowd work best, such as the Wave Swinger Chairs and Waltzer Ride Hire, with plenty of lights and music. Classic stalls along the seafront or quay add atmosphere for families walking by.
North Devon and the Atlantic Coast
Barnstaple, Bideford, Ilfracombe and Braunton have holiday parks, surf towns and summer fairs that suit seaside favourites. The Lighthouse Helter Skelter fits the coastal setting, and Bumper Boats are a hit on warm days.
South Devon and the English Riviera
Torquay, Paignton and Brixham host seafront festivals, while Totnes and Dartmouth favour smaller community events. A mix of family rides and stalls works well, and the Carnival Theme Package 2 | Inflatable Helter Skelter, X3 Funfair stalls, High Striker, Funfair Axe Throw Game, Bungee Trampolines gives a complete carnival corner in one booking.
Exeter and Plymouth
The two cities host university events, school fairs, corporate days and large park festivals. Larger audiences suit a headline ride such as the Ferris Wheel Ride Hire, supported by children's rides and food stalls such as the Popcorn Stall.
Moorland and Farm Shows
Shows on the edge of Dartmoor and Exmoor take place on open fields, often well away from mains power. Each hire includes a generator with fuel, and our crew checks the ground and access before building. Traditional rides from our traditional fairground ride hire range suit a show crowd.
Schools, Colleges and Company Days
From primary school fairs in Tiverton and Crediton to college leavers' events in Exeter and staff family days on Plymouth business parks, Devon's year is full of smaller events too. Primary schools often choose a gentle ride with two or three stalls, while companies prefer a headline ride and something for the children. The Corporate funday for children is a handy starting point for workplace events.

Build Your Devon Funfair
Our collection falls into four main groups: rides, side stalls and games, inflatables, and food and treat stalls. Most Devon bookings draw on at least two, often a ride for the children, a few games for families and candy floss or ice cream to round things off.
With more than sixty rides and attractions to choose from, there is plenty of room to tailor a line-up to a carnival, a show or a seaside weekend. Our inflatables are worth a look if you need something quick to set up.
A selection of rides, inflatables and stalls we deliver to events in Devon, each with trained staff and power included.
Devon Funfair Hire FAQs for Shows, Seafronts and Summer Fetes
Can you set up on a seafront promenade?+
Promenades in towns such as Exmouth, Paignton and Ilfracombe often make great event spaces. Loading restrictions and pedestrian flow are the main points to plan, so we agree an early delivery window with you and the local authority.
Which rides are best for an agricultural show?+
Is there anything included that we might not expect?+
A free site visit where one is needed, a generator with fuel and a 24-hour contact line all come as standard.
Our fete is in a village with a narrow lane. Can you still reach us?+
Smaller vehicles and compact attractions make most village greens around Dartmoor and the Exe valley reachable. Tell us about any weight limits or tight bridges.
How long does setup take?+
It depends on the attraction. Stalls are quick, while larger rides take longer. We will give you an arrival time that leaves plenty of margin before opening.
Do you supply wristbands for unlimited ride sessions?+
Are rides checked on the day?+
An on-site inspection takes place before the public arrive, and every ride holds a current ADIPS certificate.
What fits a Plymouth or Exeter city park event?+
