Paddle Boats

Ready, steady, paddle! Our paddle boats are a step up from our Bumper Boats, giving children the chance to power their own voyage. There are no batteries and no motors here: young captains use their arms to drive the boat forward and steer their way around the pool, which makes it a brilliantly active and satisfying ride.

It is a lovely way for children to feel independent and proud of themselves, and they often come off grinning and asking for another go. Our fully trained team supervises every session, and the boats are designed to keep children dry and secure throughout their adventure.

What ages are paddle boats suitable for?

They suit young captains aged 3 and up, so they are a hit at garden barbecues, village fetes, family fun days, birthday parties and corporate family events. Older children enjoy the extra effort involved, while younger ones love the novelty of steering their very own boat.

Safety comes first with every booking. Each hire comes with a full risk assessment and strict operating procedures, all backed by our £10 million public liability insurance. The pool is set up on a level site with access to water for filling, and our team looks after filling, operating and draining, so there is nothing for you to worry about on the day.

Prices start from £500, based on the event date, the number of items booked and the required operating hours. Our pricing is transparent, so there are no hidden costs after you book. Pair the boats with our inflatables and fairground stalls and games for a full family line-up; they suit lakeside fun days in North Yorkshire and holiday parks in Northumberland beautifully.
