Grab a mat and hold on for the bumps! The Astro Glide slide is a giant, brightly coloured seaside-style slide with a series of humps and bumps that send riders gliding, bouncing and giggling all the way to the bottom. It even starred in the Churchill advert, so you may well recognise it.
It brings the charm and excitement of the seaside straight to your event, and its massive size and eye-catching colours make it a standout feature that draws guests from every corner of the site. Children, teenagers and adults all love the simple pleasure of a big, bumpy slide, and many dash straight back up the steps for another go.
Where does the Astro Glide work best?
It is perfect for funfairs, festivals, corporate events, private gatherings and seaside-themed events, and it makes a superb centrepiece for summer celebrations. Our staff hand out mats, manage the queue and supervise every ride down, so guests of all ages can enjoy it safely.
Hire starts from £1500, with the cost depending on the event date, the number of items you book and the operating hours required.
The Astro Glide complements our funfair rides, fairground stalls and games, inflatables and traditional fairground ride hire, creating an entertainment package for a wide audience. For more seaside fun, add our Lighthouse Helter Skelter.
We bring it to events in London, Cambridgeshire and nationwide, and it suits seaside festivals in Tyne and Wear and summer carnivals in Warwickshire.
